CPCA hosted a teach-in in the 43rd Ward with community members from Lincoln Park and around Chicago. Alderman Michele Smith co-sponsored the event with CPCA member organizations ONE Northside and the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs.
Alderman Smith said, the 14 provisions identified by CPCA "have to be changed...It's going to take public opinion to really make a difference. These are very entrenched provisions...This is an unacceptable framework. It's very important that people let other people know."
